WooCommerce is a free plugin for WordPress that allows you to change your current website in the online store. Since the plugin is free, you will have to cover the basic things like hosting and domain name.

Once You install and activate the WooCommerce plugin you will see a new tab in your WordPress dashboard. you can manage your all WooCommerce settings option.

Add A new product you’ll just click on Product > Add new tab. If you have ever created a WordPress post or page, you will feel right at home by adding new WooCommerce products.

Magento was launch in the year 2008, developed & funded by Varian, Inc.

Magento is a self-hosted open-source software to create small and large online store websites. It has two editions Magento Community and Magento Enterprise. You can either self-host or use a cloud edition by Magento. Magento is uniquely designed based on user needs. Magento is a PHP based CMS.

It supports an unlimited number of products, as any respecting self-hosted platform. Magento provides many eCommerce features. Magento is a highly powerful platform and used by many top eCommerce companies.

2. Easy to use

First of all, you will choose a Magento edition. Magento has two editions: (1) Enterprise Edition,(2) Community Edition.

You can choose any one of these two options. Magento database is heavy you’ll require a strong server.
You have many products and you expect heavy traffic on your site that you will have a strong server.
Now that you have your hosting and theme, you are ready to start creating your database.
