In this tutorial, we will learn how to manage Opencart 3.x modifications.
Generally, modifications are required when you install the template over the existing store, re-install them or simply add a new one.
Modifications are extending the default engine functionality without changing the Opencart core files.
Installing the template over the existing store, you will need all the modifications that are located in the themeXYZ_extensions.zip archive.
Extract the archive file first, then go to the Extensions ➜ Installers section in your admin panel.
Upload modifications one by one, after doing it, go to the Extensions ➜ Modifications and on the top-right side click on the Refresh modifications button.
In case you need to re-install the modification, you will have to delete it prior to installing it in the Extensions ➜ Modifications menu as you will get an error saying that this modification already exists. After doing that install it by going to the Extensions ➜ Installer section.
Refresh your website and check the changes.
